IU is a multi-year member of the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce, as well as a multi-year Chamber Ambassador.  Chamber Ambassadors perform outreach duties to the general business communities, support ribbon-cuttings, and provide voluntary manpower needed for various functions.

IU is a founding member of askRITA.biz,  aka the Rocket City Information Technology Alliance.  An association of best-in-class IT and related service providers who collaborate to provide one stop shopping for customers with diverse and demanding IT needs.

IU's representative to BNI is a member of the Heritage Network Chapter of BNI, serves as an ambassador to other BNI chapters, and serves as a core-group starter to forming and fledgling BNI chapters.
